The FDA conducted the audit utilizing QSIT (Quality Systems Inspection Techniques) to assure compliance to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) standards and all regulations according to the Code of Federal Regulations. The assessment, completed last week, focused on conformity with QSR (Quality Systems Requirements) and included reviews of management practices and operational procedures, quality implementation, customer satisfaction, and preventative/corrective action plans. During the process, no "483s" were issued to the Seagrove facility. The term 483 is a reference to the form the FDA uses to document "Inspectional Observations" or nonconformance issues. Overall the FDA audit was highly favorable with good marks for core structure and positive observations about Moll Medical systems.
